Carnew Emmetts Our annual 'Tea Party' in Taylors of Shillelagh last Friday night was an outstanding success. We were very encouraged to see so many young people attending the function. Thanks to the ladies who put on the meal and to everyone who sponsored prizes on the night.The Packers one weakness is defense. They win by outscoring the hell out of the other team. But the Lions can put up points, too, and I just have a good feeling about them..

Open letter to Ed Woodward contd: you fail to realise certain clubs HAVE to pay extra for players as you have conducted your seeking searching with a grabby attitude. If your language is " they are not serious, that is just too much money, 1M is a lot not to talk of 30M" then, am afraid you are at the wrong club. This is Manchester United which in the past 2 decades have been in the top 3 football clubs in the world.But then I read the sports pages of the Globe and the Herald, which now are as much about gossip as statist
